The Wilmington Ballet, the Wilmington Ballet Orchestra, the Wilmington Children's Chorus and an array of special guest artists join forces this December for a brand new production of Tchaikovksy's unmissable Christmas classic. Under the baton of Allan R Scott, this exciting staging promises to reflect diversity and multiculturalism as this dazzling lineup delivers an unforgettable festive fantasy the whole family will enjoy!

What is the story?

One of the world's favorite holiday experiences, The Nutcracker is based on ETA Hoffman's enchanting novella of the same name. Telling the tale of Clara and the mysterious Nutcracker doll she receives from her godfather on Christmas Eve, The Nutcracker opens up a world of winter wonder as Clara and her doll are whisked into a fantasy realm where nothing is as it seems.
